Embrace and Rebuild Association
United in Purpose Resilient in Spirit Rebuilding Together for a Stronger Tomorrow.
Organization's Vision
“Embrace and Rebuild” is an organization dedicated to preserving, nurturing, and empowering the heritage and culture of Sephardic and Eastern Jewry, with a focus on strengthening the Zionist, physical, and spiritual connection between Sephardic communities around the world and the State of Israel. The organization operates out of a commitment to ensuring a safe and strong future for the Jewish people, both in routine and in emergencies, and recognizes the need to unite all parts of the Jewish people under a vision of unity, Zionism, and continuity.
The organization works to connect Sephardic communities worldwide to their proud Zionist heritage, creating a global Jewish union that strengthens ties with the Jewish people and the State of Israel. A central goal of the organization is to spread awareness of Jewish history concerning the significant contribution of Sephardic and Eastern Jews to the establishment of the Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel, even before the formal founding of the state. The early migrations of Sephardic and Eastern Jews to Israel in the 18th century are an important chapter in the history of Zionist settlement. These pioneers came with the desire to renew the Jewish presence in the Land of Israel and build new lives there. They laid the foundation for settlements that developed throughout the 19th century and established the groundwork for the Jewish national revival. Their contribution was essential to founding the first settlements and strengthening the Jewish presence in the land, which later became a vital base for the organized Zionist immigration waves that followed.
Understanding that the tragedy of October 7th demands a new beginning, the organization works toward building a secure and united future for the Jewish people in Israel and worldwide, while restoring honor to its history and preserving the magnificent legacy of the Sephardic and Eastern communities during the state’s formation, even before its official establishment.
